I got cheated one time too, I was supposed to be 2nd place but a grade 12 student had the same score as me but they automatically made the grade 12 2nd place because they said it would be embarassing if I beat a grade 12 student since I was g7 at that time and a beginner, crazy how they didn't hesitate to make a solution and just made the senior get 2nd place cuz it would be "embarrassing"😭

thiiiisss, apaka daming ganyan especially sa mga District or division level ng mga school competition. Hindi lang sa journalism pero pqti na rin sa iba like Festival of talents and iba pa. Nakakainis lang kasi deserve namin na mga bata ng patas na pag judge pero hindi nabibigay.

we got cheated on too during our division level dance competition. They sabotaged our music and that cost us to lose. Another sabotaged when I was supposed to compete sa Baguio but was replaced by a teacher's son without prior reason

YOU DESERVE JUSTICE. Dapat ang mga pinipiling judges ay maayos, imagine kung gaano kahirap at pagod yung sinayang ng mga ibang journalist at nagagawa pa ito ng mga coach. Hindi sila/kayo nagpapakapagod at nagpupuyat para lang madaya dahil kamag anak nya ang student/journalist. We deserved what we worked our asses for. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, it's the biggest event for every student. Hindi lang yan basta medal o event, it's an opportunity na maaari kaming bigyan ng magandang buhay, hindi lang para ipamigay nyo sa mga kamag anak nyo kahit hindi nila deserve.

exactly what happened to me. But the difference is pinaglaban ng coach ko but hindi parin inaccept. My coach asked a doctoral degree, an English major, and even my former coach before ako nag change. They all agreed that my output is better than yung competitor na nakapasok sa dspc but the system choose to not change the results because it's "finalized" nadaw even tho some category is still being judged. Di pa ako naka move on. Napaka sayang kase it would've be my first time entering dspc with the category I want the most.

journalism is upholding TRUTH, they keep reminding us that it's fair, truth, and for youth voices yet here they are with crossed fingers behind their back as they try to give chances to others even tho they deserve it. This is not a test of talent anymore but a test of anarchy and favoritism, DSPC is starting to be more like who is more favored and known rather than on the quality of once truth.

Behh Ako Ang nanghihinayang at naiinis sa nakita ko ngayonnn😭 and naranasan ko Rin po Yan. I'm the one who is supposed to claim the place of Champion in the Congressionals FOT, but they cheated the system. As for the record of each judge, my coach saw the coach of the other participant giving signs that the other participant should win champion. Well it did, I came out as the 1st Runner up with a silver medal. Meanwhile, the other got a place that is known as Champion. The judge came from the town Lucban and one of the judge is from lucban, makes sense. but I'm road to Division, wish me luckkk!!

Truee dinaya ata ako kahapon huhu, nakapasok sa top ten yung may limang correction tape sa official paper tas antaas daw ng sulat kasi nakita ng friend ko na katabi lang ung tiga gugo na school nayon tas ako naging unplaced pero sabi ng mam namin maganda daw article and headline ko kasi Isa sya sa proctor dun, Malala pa dun ung English daw may nakita na nag correction tape dinisqualified pero sa Filipino hinde? paglaban ko paba? Sayang daw e Sabi ng mga teammates ko pang 1st dw article ko and last yr 2nd ako huhu 3 yrs nako sa journ kakatapos lang ng contest kahapon e, wala nadin siguro magagawa yung coach ko 🥹💔

At DSPC, I was very excited about the opportunity to attend RSPC, but later the government announced that only those who achieve first place are eligible to go to RSPC, which was dissapointing! It sucks that we just have to let it slide. THE GOVERNMENT IS A TOTAL BUMMER!
