Respectfully I think you’re missing the point of her videos and deflecting from the message. She’s talking about the abuse women face in their marital homes and when the situation comes to Mallam’s they dismiss it. She’s also talking about not everyone is fit to be a Mallam because some of them lack consideration when it comes to the woman’s point of view. Also I’ve noticed a lot the conversations around feminism in the Zongo community is treated like a horrible thing when all women in our community is doing is standing up for their selves. Could she have maybe said it in a better way maybe but at the end of the day her message still stands. Some men abuse their wives and she’s talking to that set group on women. It may be uncomfortable but it’s the truth. And also this idea of stoping feminism from w entering our community is laughable because the behavior of Zongo men is what has caused such a movement so maybe look within and do better.
