![👀 [BREAKING] We finally know who is taking Richmond’s old Happy Lamb room in Lansdowne Centre , and the rumours were CLOSE but wrong. Word of the street that it would be Gyukaku or Gyubee. Nope - Noms Mag community member (Mathew) spotted signs for Sangoku , the premium all you can eat Japanese BBQ brand from the Gyubee family. Gyubee opened its first BC room in October 2024 on Ackroyd Road. Sangoku is the newer and more premium one that just opened in Markham, Ontario in July. This will be Sangoku’s first BC location. What’s the difference between Sangoku and Gyubee? Well they have a lot of similarities but Sangoku’s menu goes a bit beyond with: all you can eat sushi, hot stone bibimbap, stone grilled hamburg steak, wagyu carpaccio and cubed beef ribs alongside the grill. No opening date.
