I only just realized that he wasn’t talking about the actual court and judge but God and Jesus carrying our sins and we still end up making more sins and honestly I just think I truly am lost from God’s grace.

some people dont really get the analogy of this post. death penalty is simply end of life. that was the judge's rule (God). because Jesus sacrificed himself and resurrected, we are forgiven for our sins in the sense that we no longer face eternal death or separation from God, but instead are given a second chance to live in heaven after mortal death (who so believes in him shall not perish but have an everlasting life) :)
