He is so right. These people are ridiculous. Ofc they acted close because THEY ARE. People saying that “They shouldn’t have done fan service then.” like it’s not part of their job. Fans want to control them, but if the things that they make them do aren’t actually what the actors want to do, they get mad. They’d have less fans if they acted distant, and they are friends that love each other, so they can be close, touchy, caring, etc. without dating or it being fan service. As a huge BL fan and BL actors/ships fan, I have never wanted to force actors into a relationship. I don’t care if they do fan service at all, it’s fun to watch and it helps them to make more money, but when fans get too pushy and make them uncomfortable, that’s when it becomes a problem. Many ships do fan service, some are really dating, and some are acting close because they literally are close friends, even if they aren’t dating or just doing fan service. How are we this parasocial? If you actually care about the actors, you’d realize that it’s their job and not go off on them for speaking up when they feel uncomfortable about what fans are doing. I’m always happy to see ship moments regardless of whether the pair are together or just friends, it’s cute and funny either way. I’m a teen and I realize that we’re the ones being overdramatic, not Yin at all. You’ve never been in his shoes, and his own fans are turning on him simply because he said he’s not dating his acting partner. I hope we’ll learn to love and support actors regardless of whether or not they want to do exactly what you want for them to. Sorry for the long and annoying comment, but I hate that Yin is getting hate for this when he’s clearly in the right here🫶💕
