i have this exact litter box, it works well and keeps up with my 3 cats. I change it once a week. (although i have another automatic litter box so you may need to change more frequently than i do)

what they don’t tell you about this litter box is whenever you don’t clean it in time and the bottom is full There will be shit on the back the bottom of the litter box and sometimes your clumps will not go through the little holes You have to click it for three or five seconds so that it will actually clean your little box and if your cat pisses Hella and on the side it will get stuck it won’t go down there you will have to get something and hit at it so that it will go down there but if you make the clumps too small, it’s not gonna go down. You also can’t put it to close the wall because it will not go Back.

I’ve had this a year now… and I’m abt to just go back to a regular box. It’s the same amount of work actually… sometimes more. You’re constantly emptying the bag, and it’s a pain. Not to mention the shit smeared all over the machine and vents

cats fuggin suck and are awsome same time......best to let ur partner be the one who wants cats and u just wait a bit so they reeeaaaly want one...then u just say ok but u are doing the boxes...done deal...but when ur wife get pregnant u will have to do it for the 9 months and following breastfeed months..

I use Dr. Elsey’s litter. It clumps amazingly and I mix it with activated charcoal for odor absorption. I sift the litter with a regular scoop to take the poop and pee out then use a smaller scoop to get all the random poop/pee climbs out. I don’t change my litter.

Nah.. I understand this is advertisement, but unlike most pet owners now, I actually enjoy the “chores” of manually cleaning the cat box and keeping it clean. I enjoy manually feeding and cleaning the bowl. The only “automatic” thing I have is the metal water bowl I still clean and change filter on. To automate and computerize everything is simply laziness and degenerate in my opinion. If it’s too much work to properly take care of a dog/cat, maybe other things aren’t suited for you yet.
