@joshackerman33: Take the parenting wins when you get them. 😂 I overheard my son talking to his cousin while they were playing Fortnite today. He told him, “I save all my money… except sometimes when I buy video games.” And I thought… you know what? I’ll take it. He understands how to save. He understands it’s okay to spend money on things he enjoys. And most importantly, he understands the difference. We spend a lot of time as parents wondering if the lessons we’re trying to teach are actually sinking in. Sometimes you get a little glimpse that maybe they are. Take the wins. Speaking of wins, editing this video was NOT one of mine.
