@zaraoliviabone: I think about this a lot: my baby is brand new, but I’m already thinking about what happens when maternity leave ends. Not because I don’t want to go back to work. I might. I might want to go back part-time. Or I might realise I want something completely different. I just don’t want money to be the thing that makes that decision for me. So while I’m off, I’m working on creating another option for myself.
