Had loads of Evorel fall off the first few weeks until I found a fool-proof method. Position on ‘jeans pocket’ area of backside and rub the patch in your hands to warm it up before applying. Not had one fall off since - even with swimming and other watersports.

Everything apart from Estradot bot won’t stick to me and burns my skin :( it’s a nightmare every month I don’t know if I can get my HRT or not

I’m allergic to the Evorel patch. Now on gel which is messy but would the other patch be an option or would it cause allergy issues?

Well, I had the same issues. I had been using Estradot and they were great. Now they are out of stock and I need them, so I had to take Evorel

I dont understand how its allowed for important medications to become hard to get? not just hrt but some life saving medication is out of stock! should not be allowed to happen!

I’m on 50/conti and I asked about my dose being increased . my gp said the patches only come in one dose, so if I want to change then I need something different. He also wrote in my notes that I denied that anything was going on in my personal life to cause the symptoms. I feel like he’s calling me a liar.

Erm that’s not true re estradot or patches staying the same size. 25mcg are tiny thumbnail size patches and 100mg are much bigger - still smaller than evorel tho.

Warm the evorel patch in between your hands before putting it on. Peel off half the backing, put on and pull taught before pulling off the second half of the backing. Then warm the patch again by putting your hands over it. Sticks like glue nice and flush. I’m on the 100 patch. It is big but didn’t budge when we went on holiday, in and out the pool and heat

I was on everol for 4 years with no improvement in symptoms, my new female doctor did a blood test & she said that I had little to no estrogen I was well below the baseline that they test for, apparently my skin just wasn't absorbing the patches even though I was on 100mg, I am now trying the gel starting with 2 pumps so 🤞

Agree!! So if out of stock, why would they not produce more. Also, if I can buy them privately through Bupa why can't the NHS not buy from same pharmacy 🤔
