That water didn’t stay there for more than four hours before it disappeared. I think the problem is that the gutter isn’t big enough because all the floodwater from the surrounding streets is connected to the same main gutter. That’s why it wasn’t able to carry all the water at once. However, the water eventually drained away through the gutter within about five hours.
