@simplidished: POV: you grew cucumbers for the first time with your kids . This year we tried new things out in the garden and cucumbers are an everyday item that we use in cooking so we thought we would give them a go . This is a Persian cucumber variety and they have a great flavor but a bunch of seeds inside . In this bed alone we planted a total of 6 . The piller bugs unfortunately took out 4 other English cucumbers in another bed but these are still growing strong and we planted them in May 2026 .
