I was there and saw the situation myself. From what I witnessed, her dress did have a malfunction on stage, and the organizers approached her and guided her backstage to fix it. I did not see her being dragged off the stage. If there was any inappropriate behavior backstage, that should definitely be addressed. But regarding Shivani, I think it’s important to understand the full situation before making accusations about her intentions or saying she deliberately damaged the dress.

After the issue, I was also participating in the same competition, so I was backstage as well. I’m simply sharing what I personally saw with my own eyes and speaking from my own experience. From what I observed, her bikini was already a little oversized at the back and looked like it was slightly hanging down. She was asking Shivani Ma’am and the other ma’ams to help fix it. They were extremely helpful and didn’t hesitate or make her feel uncomfortable at all. They even looked for double-sided tape and helped her and and also fixing other competitors malfunctioning/ill-fitting outfits Throughout the process, I saw them encouraging and supporting the participants. Personally, I received very positive and supportive vibes from the entire women’s team members including shivani maam,Shova maam and Kamala maam and talking about expensive clothes she mentioned my competition set was lesser expensive then but they didn’t say anything about my clothes price. So, based on what I personally witnessed backstage, I honestly did not feel that they were being rude or behaving badly in any way. This is simply my personal perspective and my experience of what I saw there.

It seems like only certain parts of the interaction are being told , which can create a completely different impression of what actually happened. Ek jana le matra “kapda bhayena” bhannu euta kura ho, but if multiple people are telling you that your bikini isn’t proper, then obviously something needed to be fixed and . If anything, adjusting and covering those parts was to save the athlete from an embarrassing situation on stage, not to create one. And when she says “bhatkaidiyo,” I genuinely don’t understand what that means. Kasari bhatkayo? Lagako kapda kasari bhatkayo? The bikini was already being worn, so if someone was simply adjusting it to make sure everything was properly covered before going back on stage, how is that “ruining” the clothes? I’ve personally worked with Shivani ma’am, and I genuinely hope she takes action against having her name and intentions taken out of context like this. Seeing her involved in this situation is upsetting because, from my own experience, I’ve seen her do nothing but support, encourage, and empower other women.
