A fridge, unplugged it to defrost it before I went on holiday. Forgot, come back and ordered a brand new fridge because it wouldn’t work. Realised 10 minutes before the new one was due to be delivered 😩

‘Losing my passport’ the day before a holiday, having to drive to Newport for a special appointment to get a new passport, to drive home and find the original passport exactly where I normally put it

I have a huge TV in a small living room and I very seldom watch the TV. Then got another smaller but large TV for my bedroom.

Yes, I call it the ADHD tax. Not only impulsive shopping, late payments and then penalties, lost things, missed opportunities, planning mistakes that cost money, missed deadlines for trial version cancellations 😀 things broken by my impatience because I don't read the instructions 🤷♀️things that always fall out of my hands so that they break, opening doors by the company because the keys are inside 😎 I don't want to count it all, it's an expensive diagnosis. And sometimes I buy those things not because I lost them (and then found them) but because I don't even remember that I bought them once (twice 😉).

I do things on impulse ignoring all red flags and then 50% of the time regretting it the the next day.. buying clothes I know I will hate and never wear because they would trigger sensory issues, but they look so cute! 😐😐😐
cutting or changing my hair.. 😐😐😐
deciding on a random day that im going to go rollerblading after not doing it in over 20 years.. i pulled a muscle 😐😐😐sometimes i act impulsive and it ends up great, like that one time I put in an application for a job I never thought I'd ever get but then I got an interview and landed the job! 😳 still trying to chew that one.

Everything that is dopamine related is an instant purchase, it becomes an expensive habit over time. Think of buying a fast ducati but looking at it as if its a cup of coffee

I book a trip and many places and then I discover that I am not ready for all that and depression affects me and I regret all the reservation and trip before it starts and then I regret after the trip that I regretted the trip and did not enjoy it and it was beautiful
