NOT A DEAN DEFENDER, that being said one of the reasons he thinks like this is because he explains that its similar to his mom, also in this scene he not exactly advocating for donna reeds lifestyle he’s just saying “well if shes choosing to do so and is happy about it; then why is it an issue for her to do it?” But he’s wording it wrong and he doesn’t really get to explain himself further. (Also i cant stand this episode and how quickly Rory switches up her “beliefs” to make dean happy, i.e dressing up as donna and doing a whole dinner for him after getting so upset about it)

the thing with rory that confuses me is she thinks that this lifestyle is conpletely a wrong eay to live for a woman unless i got the message wrong and then goes and does the exact same thing dean said he liked even thou she thought it was wrong, idk i might be confused abt the message or took it a wrong way but........
