For me, employees don’t owe companies anything beyond the work they’re paid to do. If someone needs time off, they should be able to take it without feeling guilty or obligated to sacrifice their well-being for a company that would replace them in a heartbeat. The reality is, most companies don’t genuinely care about or invest in their employees anymore. They treat people like disposable workhorses—use them, burn them out, and move on to the next person. Your job is not your life, and no company is worth sacrificing your health, your peace, or your happiness for.

idk about anywhere else but in TX we can call in a mental health day and they can't deny us but more than 2 in a week and you have to see a shrink
