The annual Paper Daisy Spring Festival is back at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, transforming the garden into a celebration of native flowers, spring and the great outdoors. Running 4 September – 11 October, the festival features Sydney’s biggest paper daisy display, along with live music, food, creative workshops, lawn games and family-friendly activities. And the garden itself is worth exploring beyond the festival — spanning 416 hectares across Dharawal Country, with more than 4,000 native plant species and plenty of walking trails, picnic areas and beautiful landscapes to discover. as someone who goes to Mount Annan regularly it always amuses me how so many people go to the part of the garden you show here and never cross the lake, turn right and explore the Bottlebrush Garden, the Wattle Garden and the Protecea Walk and everything in between. also on the way in from the Narellan Rd entrance there is the wonderful Stolen generation walk on the left as you approach the main car park.
