Republicans have effectively controlled all three branches of the government since January 2025. Since that date, the following has gone up: gas prices, grocery prices, housing prices, energy bills, unemployment, and inflation. We are stuck in an endless war (the one y’all promised wouldn’t happen) that is costing us $250m/day. The July jobs report showed a job loss of 23k. The national debt just passed $40 trillion. Diesel just hit a record high!!!! It passed the previously high set in 2022!!! Instead of focusing on the affordability crisis, the Republican Party has prioritized bills that help prevent people from voting. They have prioritized tax breaks for billionaires and corporations while cutting food programs for the most vulnerable citizens (several of which are senior citizens and children). They have sold off our national park public lands. They have cut CDC programs that monitor preventable diseases, and guess what…measles made a comeback. The Republican Party is a disgusting group of grifters who have only made life in America worse since January 2025.
