good qualification doesn't necessarily mean a teacher is more competent since there are many circumstances and factors that affect one's academic qualification.

the truth is the calling also matters, I can't forget in my secondary we had a teacher professionally had enough competent papers, bt the funny part of this, had content challenge, so the one who was just an advocate had enough and his content was effective. and his paper was not all that was so vibrant

To me it's not the 1st,2nd ... qualifications, it's that teacher who is able to transfer the knowledge to a learner. Your explanation seems to be geared towards those who have higher qualification have a better competencethan the lower qualification, I disagree with you after seeing many higher academically qualified teachers failing to deliver in many occassions

you got a point but to me these classifications ain't necessary what is the need of saying one qualified with 1st class and another with pass look with what happens in the field of medicine....is there such classifications?
