There’s another creator - he’s a pharmacist - who bought two bottles of ibuprofen, the CVS brand, 100 tabs were $10 and change, and then the Aldi brand, 100 tabs that were a dollar and change. He compared both and they are identical. Same manufacturer, the pills themselves are identical… A $9 difference to buy the exact same thing.

I assume he’s talking about using premium fuel in cars that don’t require premium. If your car manufacturer suggests using premium fuel and you can afford it, use premium.

The only reason I buy brand name baking soda is because I can get it in 5lb and 10lb bags while I’m buying groceries. If I ever saw huge bags of the generic I would get it, but I don’t want to buy 30 little boxes of it!

I disagree with the dishwashing pods. I’ve done GV, did horrible. Cascade/ Dawn all day. And I’m all about being futile/ on a budget.

Premium fuel pays for itself. If you have a car that calls for premium, use it. Especially if you expect to keep it long term. Ppl make me laugh. Treat their cars like shit and wonder why they are so unreliable. Take care of your car and it will take care of you

Dawn for liquid and Cascade for pods are 2 name brands I will buy because they just work. I am also non-negotiable on JIF peanut butter because of preference. Otherwise it’s store/generic for everything I can—especially OTC meds as you mentioned.

I agree with all of these except water. Water does have a flavor. Aquafina tastes like bleach & chemicals to me. I can't drink my own tap water because our pipes are so old I get warns in the mail not to drink it. I'm willing to spend a little more on better tasting water.
