In Turkiye they ask for cash, only because they don’t do an invoice if you pay cash. And that means, they basically don’t pay tax because you are paying cash.

Honestly I’ve never been harassed by a Turkish men in Turkey but it’s probably because I’ve always lived in secular neighborhoods and know what parts are safe and whatnot. Like I would never go to tarlabasi etc I would stay on istiklal or go to pera or tomtom. I would never in a million years go to Fatih etc. probably those places you have to go if you’re trying to do business?
