the thing is... A lot of youth in each country is feeling the same thing. Unless your family is rich you won't have that many opportunities. Job is terrible everywhere, affording a house (even if it's rent) seems impossible, etc.

This is why my parents moved to the US 35 years ago, but now that I’ve grown up I also can’t afford housing and I’m worried about active shooters when my kids go to school. So the grass is always greener, as they say.

The problem with people nowadays is that they are so delusional. They wanna get it the easy way and not having to do work at all. They only want to earn money but do only minimal work. This is reality. Everywhere it is like this. Unless you are the son or daughter of a CEO. You have to work your as s off and you need to do it the hard way and have no right to complain.

I was an exchange student at Seoul National University of EDUCATION during college for a summer semester. Us female American students had a talk with the female Korean students about the low birth rate. 100% of the Korean female students said they don’t want to have kids because of the education system there. And IF they had kids, they’d have to move out of the country before the kids have to start going to school….and this is coming from students studying to be a teacher at THE top Korean uni for teachers.

My son goes to international school here in korea, and they told him he’s extremely lucky to have a great mom like myself because I don’t force him to go to cram school. 😔
