Hannah Micka San Jose :
Guys, I’m a fan of both Jelai and Toni, and as a fan of both of them, I honestly believe that Jelai is the one who was deeply hurt by what happened. That kind of trauma can stay in someone’s mind for a very long time.
Yes, Toni hurt her, and Toni has admitted that she was wrong. But don’t you also understand that Toni was affected by what happened? She has also experienced the trauma of knowing that she hurt someone. Can’t you understand the situation from her perspective too? If you were in Toni’s position right now, I’m sure you wouldn’t find it easy either.
And honestly, why are people dragging the child into this issue? Why not talk about the bigger problems in our country, like corruption? But gossip seems to be what people care about.
Also, the Lord forgives us for our sins. We should learn to forgive too. As fans, we shouldn’t keep inserting ourselves into their personal issues because we are only fans. It’s not our place to keep judging or attacking them.
Toni has already apologized, and she even wants to keep herself accountable because of what happened 10 years ago. Ten years is a very long time, yet people still keep bringing it up. Jelai may never completely forget what happened because she was the one who got hurt, and that is understandable. But as fans, maybe it’s time for us to let go because we weren’t the ones who experienced that pain.
And let’s be clear: Toni didn’t interfere when they were already married. Some people are simply choosing to bash her because they refuse to let go of the past.
One mistake doesn’t mean a person should be judged and attacked forever. People can make mistakes, admit them, apologize, learn from them, and change. We should stop being so judgmental and remember that everyone deserves a chance to grow.
