Ubiribo, 43, died in March after undergoing a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure while on holiday in Bangkok, Thailand, with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen. According to evidence presented at an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court, approximately 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected during the procedure. He later complained of chest pain while receiving a massage with his wife and collapsed twice. He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors diagnosed a pulmonary embolism. Medical staff reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes, but Ubiribo died in the early hours of March 6. A UK postmortem found cellular material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the cosmetic procedure caused the fatal pulmonary embolism. Known for showcasing a lavish lifestyle to his approximately 185,000 Instagram followers, Ubiribo was buried in London in May. Nigerian music star Davido and socialite Cubana Chief Priest were among those reported to have attended his funeral.
