My parents divorced 44 years ago and him and my mom stayed close friends. When my dad was dying of liver failure she was there feeding him. He got a transplant and lived 18 more years watching his grandkids grow up riding to sporting and school events together, my dad passed away in June and she was there until his last day, she cried. She left work early, she took several days off. I love that about my divorced parents. ❤️
