I’m still caught off guard when September 11, is used as a normal “date” to host functions or deadlines or something. I still can’t help but think it should be recognized as a national holiday of remembrance.

My grandfather was actually a detective during that awful day…he saved so many lives. He died in 2017 though due to 9/11 related illnesses. I miss him so much…

I feel bad for Laurel Homer. That what my life was supposed to be versus what it turned out to be perspective is a tough way to go through life. I hope she eventually finds peace in the fact that this is what her life was supposed to be.

I wish every single human being got to experience the days after September 11, 2001. The unity, the compassion, and most of all how people treated each other. Such great tragedy brought a closeness to our nation that is indescribable. We will NEVER forget!!! 25 years seems like just yesterday ❤️🤍💙

I literally remember walking to work that morning and looking up at the sky and thinking how perfectly blue it was. not a cloud in the sky- a perfect day in September with air that had the first hint of crisp fall weather. I was walking home less than two hours later as everyone was sent home.
