my parents are always busy all the time, So I had babysitters to take care of me all day. I used to have digestion problems all the time and had caries because my parents didn't teach me how to brush my teeth and didn't feed me nutrients like vegetables. Now I'm a picky eater and I'm paranoid I'll have caries again if I skip brushing my teeth even if it's only one day

Wait guys I need help, my brother is turning 12 this year, he’s autistic but pretty high functioning. I’ve gotten him to bathe by himself and he can do it properly, but he’s so reliant on my mom to do it for him. I keep trying to push him to bathe by himself but he’s so reliant on me and my mom and just screams and cries, “I want you to bathe me!! Bathe me!!” He’s hitting puberty so his hair is getting noticeably oily and he’s starting to stink, he’s in occupational therapy but it’s not rlly doing much tbh. I love him and I’m trying to help but it’s not working ☹️any ideas??

whenever my mother taught me anything , shed always hit me whenever i did something wrong . it felt hurtful , horrid . then she got mbas , and i felt happy without needing to get hit . but that means her lack of attention and teaching me how to do basic things ( tying shoelaces , washing my hair , etc ) i really hate my lack of abilities in “ basic “ things . she makes fun of me .

this is so relatable, i couldnt tie my shoes until i was 11, couldnt ride a bike without training wheels until i was 9, couldnt wash my hair until i was 12, i still dont know multiplication, i couldnt wipe myself until i was about 10, wasnt potty trained until about 8,, and way more shit dude☹️☹️i still struggle with alot of the stuff since i was never taught,, especially because im neurodivergent 💔💔

you dont understand how comforting it feels to see someone go through similar stuff yo,, i always feel so embarrassed, since because of the way she treated me sometimes, even if it was out of love, i can barely do stuff on my own. it sucks, but i’m trying 🥹 either way, hope that you’re okay dude
