I served under 4 Commanders in Chief (ret Navy combat vet). Like him or not, it's usually not a good thing when the Secretary of Defense (or Sec of War, if you will) is constantly in the headlines. You shouldn't want that. I certainly don't. To a great degree, liberal media's disdain with Hegseth (former Fox analyst) is abundantly clear and primarily the reason for the headlines but Pete can sometimes be his own worst enemy. If I was Trump I would tell Hegseth to get back in the shadows and let the admirals and generals prosecute the mission.
