Cut to him and Nyra flying Caraxes and Syrax before the war started, happy, Nyra smiling, like 10sec at most. Cuts back to Dae, he knows he’s a goner, he takes a breath, grabs Dark Sister, undoes his saddle, and jumps. Cuts right after the moment of impact to a wide shot, dragons and riders hit the God’s Eye, they sink, camera stays wide until the splashes, ripples, and bubbles are gone. Until everything is silent. End credits. (That’s what I need and how I need that battle/episode to end).

if Rhaenyra wanted any chance to win the war, then he had to take out the nuclear bomb that was Vhagar and Aemond. He knew he was going to die, but he died taking out the biggest obstacle there was. Regardless of the outcome. In my eyes, Daemon died as he lived: The Rogue Prince, conqueror to most, hero to some. A true Targaryen.
