@andzy88: A little throwback to when Arion was 18 months old 🥹❤️ We get asked quite often how we helped him become so vocal, and honestly, we cannot pin point one thing but what we did often was interacting with him a LOT. We spoke to him, read to him, asked him questions, let him answer, listened to him, and included him in our conversations and everyday activities. We tried to avoid speaking “baby” language to him because of his age — we just spoke to him as we would to each other , included him and allowed him to take part. This was one of our little moments together (a practical example), reading the story of Joseph. And before 18 months, he was already able to recite the story back to us. 🥹 Looking back, I think those ordinary, everyday moments made such a difference. Talking, reading, listening, playing and simply being present with him especially because he doesn’t go to school yet and we work. Every child is different and develops in their own time but I thought I’d share this for the moms who have asked about our experience❤️ And ultimately, all glory to God. 🙏🏽🤍 We can teach, talk, read and encourage him, but the beautiful mind God has given Arion is His doing.
