Yo teach your kid about how lizards lose their tails as a defense mechanism! And then teach them that dinosaurs are reptiles too. It doesn’t fix the tails, but your kid probably won’t care as much if you make it seem like a cool thing that happened because the Dino is a reptile.

It’s for the packaging. Which yes the should change because I agree the removable tails are dumb, but I will say all the years we’ve had them my son has not ONCE removed the tails 🤷🏻♀️
