I'm with the customer on this one. If it has a warranty and the item broke from regular use within the warranty period, the said item was defective in the first place and needs to be warrantied out.

I worked in Curry’s for 4 years, I’d like to say this is an over exaggerated example, but it’s not. I had a woman scream at me on my first day because I said I found it interesting how everyone had their own preference for hobs, she likes induction, I like gas, my manager was telling me she likes electric hobs. She screamed at me I was forcing her to buy a gas one, and then started crying and ran to another staff member to report me and trying to get me fired. Fun times.
