accidentally got pregnant 9 months post partum but not sad they'll be 18 months apart. As someone who struggled with fertility for 6 years and countless tests procedures specialists etc it's a dream come true. sending baby dust 💫

we're waiting 18 months between the first and conceiving the next because of the research that shows that babies conceived 18 months after the birth of the previous child show less risks of health complications like premature birth.

I think there are so many valid reasons for people to want kids close together. People seem to think you stop loving your first by having your second in a time frame they dont agree with. I'm already in my 30's. I dont want to wait too long, just in case it becomes a lot harder to have a baby down the road. I dont have any kids yet, just beginning the ttc stage for our first. But once I'm cleared, ready and healthy for a second pregnancy I hope to try for a second baby. I know there's so much unknown at this point

People love saying Your kids need to be close in age to be close siblings which isn't true. Me and my sister are 3 years apart and very close. I don't want another one until I have more of my life together and my toddler to be more independent. People can do what they desire but if you're going to have another kid just so their close in age regardless of finances or whatever that's negligent. As long as you're healed from your last pregnancy ( at least 6 months please lmfao that's all I ask) and have the money and stability do what you want

My doctor said to wait 18 months to try again so my body could heal. I thought they told everyone that! It’s what’s recommended by ACOG.
