Think it was that weird effect 2010 fandoms had, a character mentions some kind of food or someone pairs them, the character got drawn with it or it became like a personality thing. Papyrus spaghetti, 'Purple Guy' with Toast, Masky with cheesecake and so many oddly specific ones.
