I went on Allure before the updates and had a great time. I'm going on her again in October so hopefully I will not have the same experience. I hope you took that survey. They take those very seriously and it effects promotions and performance reviews of the staff.

I hate that when they dry dock they never upgrade the rooms. That really sucks . They need to start upgrading the old rooms.

Honestly, I dislike that some cruise couches are made with cloth instead of leather. Leather is so much easier to clean.

RC needs to do a refurb on their ships we just got off Oasis and it was FILTHY - these were the sheets on my bed 😑

Just curious if you said anything at the front desk because I’ve seen when people do that before and they actually go ahead and fix it right away because nobody said anything about it before.

Do your research on the ships before booking a cruise. I think they do the best they can with the allotted amount of time they have to clean!

Old ship, but at some point they need to start replacing or deep cleaning, so there is no excuse…. Good job for pointing this out, someone saying this is gross means many others are saying the same thing. So it’s Royal’s prerogative to clean up their old crap!

I know it’s not for everyone, but we cruise Disney only and a HUGE part of that for me is the sanitary standards they have, particularly in the rooms. I’ve never felt dirty in my state rooms with it, and I’m so appreciative

Royal doesn't spend money on rooms , vision was on last month and the furniture is from 1998 and disgusting... Allure is in good shape compared to some ships ... 🥺

You do realize that ship is 16 years old that couch looks like it’s been worn hard and just not replaced if you want a newer ship go book a newer ship

@Royal Caribbean. Allure of the seas. Very disappointing cruise experience. The ship was dirty and had unpleasant odors in several areas. There was visible mold around the pool, and the towels looked old, stained, and dingy. The food tasted frozen and reheated, with very poor quality overall. Even the drinks were watered down and lacked flavor. Definitely not the quality or experience we expected. I would not recommend this cruise
