These are the only two of their books I’ve read so far, so I feel like some of you might have others to recommend me here & any other books that give the same vibes are always welcome. Cleat Cute was a holiday read for me, there’s something about Florida sunshine that just make a book extra special. I opened the cover to a Rapinoe quote and just knew this was written by someone who also loves women’s football (soccer to my US friends). If you’ve ever played a team sport with someone you’ve ended up hooking up with and having a relationship then this’ll be an extra good read for you. This is exactly the way I got together with my partner, and the will they won’t they, plus keeping it from the team when it does come together is a struggle. Mistakes Were Made is a little more on the adult side of Wilsners two books here & there is an age gap which is a morally grey potential for some. We’ve got a couple who have instant chemistry so as expected there’s going to be more going on in the romance area. I’ve steered clear of trope listing here as I think some of them can spoil what goes on with this book.
