My step dad who was a mechanic used to do this in the 90s but he used a bit petrol mixed that in, told me you can’t do it anymore with modern cars because it will clog them up

cooking oil will fuck your filters so bad with all the glicerin you're gonna be releasing Diesel is that oil sterified with methanol or another alcohol so you can actually burn it without gumming the fuck up out of your engine and filters

I used to have a 1993 Vauxhall Frontera i used to chuck a load of oil in then top it up with a few £ of petrol ran absolutely spot on
