Oil Painting as a beginner  WHY - I've started adding oils to my work as I'm painting tiny people my paint was drying so fast the blending was becoming impossible  WHAT I USED - glass or plastic palette is must so the oil doesn't separate I just used the glass from an old photo frame Mont Marte Oils paints I just got the primary colours to get me started  BIGGEST TAKE AWAYS  1. Layers ! Wow so you just have to remember what dries faster. So acrylic dries fast so that goes first, any oil with turps added dries a little faster than without so that comes second and any loose oil will dry slow so do that last (this part require extra brain power)  2. Because I had an acrylic base I could just wipe of any oil paint I didn't like ! Game changer !3. The blending was soo much easier  Comment
