@lukemitchellpt: 7 habits I wish I'd started at 27... that I now live by at 37 👇 Firstly comment "PLAN" and I'll send you my FREE Start-Up Plan. These habits changed far more than my body. They changed my life. 1. I stopped drinking alcohol. 🍺 I thought alcohol helped me relax. It actually made me more anxious, less productive and stole my weekends. Stop escaping your life. Start building one you don't need to escape from. 2. I did one hard thing every morning. ❄️ For me, it's a cold plunge. Starting the day with discomfort makes everything else feel easier. If you can choose hard, life becomes easier. 3. I planned my week before it started. 📅 If it wasn't in my diary... It probably didn't happen. Hope isn't a strategy. Preparation beats motivation. 4. I trained for capability, not calories. 💪 I stopped asking... "How many calories did I burn?" And started asking... "What is my body capable of?" Train to build a body that serves you, not one you're constantly trying to shrink. 5. I stopped rewarding stress with food and alcohol. 🧠 I realised my biggest bottleneck wasn't nutrition... It was how I dealt with pressure. Fix the emotion, not just the eating 6. I protected my sleep like it was a meeting. 😴 Because one bad night's sleep affected every decision the next day. Tomorrow starts the night before. 7. I kept promises to myself. 🤝 Every workout. Every walk. Every small promise I kept built self-respect. Confidence isn't something you find. It's something you earn by proving to yourself that you can be trusted. At 27 I thought changing my body would change my life. At 37 I know changing my habits changed everything.
