What age would you say to start this with XL dogs? I’m not doing it yet (he’s not even 2 yet), Hank is thin (that dang dog just won’t eat ALL his food even with all the tasty things we put on top.) but I always worry with him being already 110 lbs that he will have problem later.

I have a 13 year old pug and 13 year old mastiff both on librela and it gas really helped. its gives them a little pep in their step. cost 60 and 85 respectively

Too late. My soon to be 11 yo has arthritis and CCL surgery. The good news is she doesn’t limp anymore even after another partial CCL rupture. Bad news is we spend a small fortune on supplements (Flexadin, Green mussel, turmeric, Salmon oil). But she’s worth it.

I’ve been feeding my dog sardines everyday since he was 1 year old which is high in Omega 3. Isn’t this just as good as a supplement? He also has a complete raw diet.

I started my mastiff on Hills j/d at 3 yrs of age, it is relatively low in calories, he lived to be 13 yrs old and had zero arthritis when he slipped 2 discs in his neck

My service dog is a 72 lb large breed, I can’t find an Omega-3 supplement or glucosamine that is pork/chicken/fish-free (allergies) that she will eat. I could put the supplement on a steak and she still won’t eat it 🙃 but she loves the beef-flavored NSAID the vet prescribed as a PRN. Picky girl.

We started glucosamine around 4-5 years old. She has to get the powder version now but she’s 12 and only has a smidge of arthritis in her back legs.
