unfortunately booing is quite common when a driver is successful or in contention with a fan favorite. almost every successful driver has been booed. Max Verstappen was booed during his entire rookie season, Lando was booed last year. Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, even Schumacher and Senna etc, etc. So unfortunately it will keep happening. But just like Max Vertappen said "People often don't like it when you win. If we were driving at the back, we wouldn't have heard anything. But I'd rather be at the top and take my trophy with me. And they go home and have a nice evening..." I hope Russel feels the same, he did an amazing job this weekend!
