here's something else to piss y'all off more. instead of paying relocation fees for threatened or endangered wildlife they purposely kill them because if they do happen to get caught, the fines are cheaper than the relocation costs for each animal.

It’s infuriating. The fines are not enough. I want to see every developer involved and the politicians who approved this behind bars. That goes for the rest of the overdevelopment in FL too.

I heard that the fines that these companies pay are actually not that bad and so that’s why they’re digging up areas like this and wetlands because in the end they’re just absorbing the additional costs. To the point where they don’t even have any more land to offset, but they’re willing to pay the fee. It’s like robbing a house, but you’re willing to pay $500 if that’s the only result of you robbing the Home.

Guess what, a lot of the people that move here are eager to change the Florida scene. I help mostly north eastern people daily, and many are what you’d think, stuck up, rude, no mannerisms, sunburnt, etc. I obviously talk to them, and for them they’ve told me they love being in “my space”, I’ve been told they’re “glad they have so many people moving down to change the culture” and much more. Northeasters who move here say, “we’re on vacation every day now!” Lmfao. And for those that do move down, mainly the reason is escaping the cold and for Disney. But personally, as someone who’s property in the woods was turned into apartments, I’m very biased 😂
