please clean them with rubbing alcohol afterwards if you do this before you put them back on. they can harbor bacteria and cause nail fungus if not disinfected first. I say this as a trained nail tech.

I do this on my high quality press ons. Or when I do my own press ons. But the cheap thin press ons aren’t worth it unless you just pop off a nail and want to quickly glue it back on.

the only nails I have actually saved to possibly use again are glamnetic brand in a solid color. everything else chips and looks crusty by 2.5 weeks.

I just use the good jelly tabs, and then I can wear them for a week and then rub the glue off with my fingertip.
