@drdavidmorris: Why do you feel full so fast? Early fullness, nausea, bloating, and food coming back up hours after eating may be symptoms of delayed stomach emptying, also called gastroparesis. Certain medications, including some GLP-1 medications, can affect gastric emptying, while blood sugar problems and nerve dysfunction may also be relevant. Today's video explains why persistent digestive symptoms deserve proper evaluation rather than being automatically dismissed as anxiety or IBS. 👇Have you ever felt uncomfortably full after only a few bites? 💬 Which symptom have you experienced most, early fullness, nausea, bloating, or burping up food? #gastroparesis #delayedgastricemptying #digestivehealth #GLP1 #stomachmotility #bloodsugar #vagusnerve #guthealth #healthtok #murfreesboro #functionalmedicine #magnoliamedicalcenter #rootcause #fyp #viral

I had to have a vagotomy and antrectomy 11 years ago which in turn caused me to have gastroparesis. I had to have an exploratory laparotomy. They said my stomach is the size of half a coke can. They sent me to UAB about a gastric pacemaker but UAB wasn't having it. I just have a question. Based on what I've told you, am I a candidate for the gastric pacemaker?

I have an esophagus that doesn’t work and has muscle spasms that makes swallowing super uncomfortable and at times, painful. AAAND! I also have a hiatal hernia so there’s the fullness and difficulty breathing. Even drinking clear liquids can be difficult — and I have to take zofran just to keep it all down. And because Doran causes constipation, and I have a rectal and pelvic prolapse, I’m using enemas.

This was me and it was awful. I lost over 60lbs. I had gastroparesis and I had the surgery a pyloroplasty, it saved my life. Allowed me to hold liquids. I lived on liquids for a few years. I can now eat once a day. But that is everything from where I was.

But why is it literally always exactly 3 bites? It’s always that third bite that gets me. I have gastroparesis and it sucks

I suffered gastroparesis for 9 years due to superior mesenteric artery syndrome. I had to have a surgery to correct the problem. It fixed it so well that now I have dumping syndrome. I cant win 😅

I was vomiting all day everyday for years. I ended up in the ICU unconscious for a few days. I got better and when I returned home, I never vomited again. The nausea persists, but it's been manageable.

That’s exactly what I am experiencing. No GLP A1c and glucose not elevated. I’m wondering if long term use of PPI have damaged my stomach? I’m starting digestive enzymes this week hoping for relief
