Lessli :
I was reflecting on this last night, and something beautiful came through for me. Looking back at the people who have been part of my life, including painful chapters, I felt gratitude. I've lived the pain, felt the sadness, kept myself silent for too long, looked at my own part, and recognised the wisdom in those experiences, and realised I don't need to carry their sadness anymore. I can remember it all, love the people I loved then, and feel nothing but gratitude for every experience. Without them, I wouldn't have gained the wisdom I carry today, and I wouldn't be me. Then this morning I recognised another piece of integration. I caught myself getting caught up in wanting to be heard, and noticed it was making me angry, which made me realise how much of the old me I was still hanging on to. I can recognise how I lived through those chapters in fear, and see I'm not that person anymore. That's what I love about this journey. It's not about perfection, but becoming aware of our human reactions and choosing what we want to carry forward. For me, that's integration. Nothing has to be erased. I can honour every chapter, love the people who were part of it, and recognise that we were all living from our own levels of awareness at the time. Through that wisdom comes the discernment to choose what I react to and what I carry into my present. Love doesn't stop being part of our lives because we've raised children, our bodies have changed, or we've lived through decades of experiences. We're still here, still loving, discovering, integrating, and choosing how we want to live, and I get to be fully here, in this body as I am today, with the love, gratitude, scars, joy and ordinary moments, allowing all of it to belong to this beautiful, messy human experience called life. 😌☺️🙏❤️🪷💖✨️🕯⚖️🕊
