At the end of the day, people are unnecessarily dying from HPV-related cancers—from penile cancer to vulvar cancer, cervical cancer, anal cancer, and even head and neck cancers. The majority of these cancers are directly related to high-risk HPV types. So, you are right. The most important message is that HPV directly causes cancer, and most of these cancers can be prevented through vaccination!

I get that, but why so many lawsuits from the vaccine? HPV isn’t new though the vaccine is and I think that’s the downfall with it all. And other things can cause irregular cells in the cervix as well not just HPV so that’s another thing that’s causing confusion. It’s not the only cause and it seems that’s kinda how it comes off.

Not just cervical cancer. A family friend of ours ended up with tongue cancer from HPV and lost half of her tongue plus had to had awful radiation for it. My big boys (13 & 14) are vaccinated and my 8yo will get it as soon as he is old enough.

Living a healthy life without health issues is something we humans should all pray for. This is a short story about my journey to overcome a deadly virus called herpes. Honestly, I had tried many medications, but none helped me. Fortunately, I came across someone who spoke about an African herbalist doctor named Dr. Ogala and how he cured her of herpes, as well as other health issues. I had some doubts because I had already tried so many treatments that didn't work, but I decided to give it a chance since it was a herbal remedy. This is the problem. You would never ask a person without an engineering degree to design a bridge or a tunnel or a space station. But people without medical degrees have no qualms in telling us about vaccines. You cannot “do your own research” in a field where you have no expertise. Or rather, doing your own research should consist of consulting medical professionals and experts in their fields not lawyers or politicians or internet “influencers” (who are trying to sell you something) or other randos on the internet.

I contracted herpes after being intimate with my new boyfriend for the first time. Before we had sex, he never mentioned that he was living with the virus, so I had no idea I was at risk. A few days later, I became extremely sick and experienced painful symptoms that lasted for about two weeks. It was one of the most difficult experiences I’ve ever gone through. After I confronted him, he admitted that he had known about his herpes diagnosis for years but chose not to tell me beforehand. I felt completely betrayed because I believe I deserved the opportunity to make an informed decision about my own health. If he had been honest with me from the beginning, I could have asked questions, taken precautions, or decided whether I was comfortable with the risk. Instead, that choice was taken away from me. I decided to end the relationship because trust is very important to me. However, he keeps telling me that I’m overreacting and that herpes is common, so it shouldn’t be a big deal. I understand that many people live normal lives with herpes, but I still feel that honesty and informed consent are essential in any relationship. Am I wrong for feeling this way, or was I justified in expecting him to be truthful before we became intimate? Am cured now by💕😍@Dr_owo
