Luckhurst groomed a young girl over social media and sent her an indecent image of himself. He arranged to meet the child at Teynham Railway Station, took her to secluded woods, gave her cannabis, and sexually assaulted her. Convicted by a jury after denying inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, he was handed an extended sentence of four years' custody and four years on licence. Placed on the Sex Offenders Register and made subject to an SHPO indefinitely, serving two-thirds (32 months) in prison.
