My prediction, JY got shot but didn’t die but lost memory. Pio thought JY died and realised that playing piano based on others’ approval didn’t do any good. He reconciled with his own complex. One day, Pio saw JY played the 4 hands piece alone somewhere and joined in. JY didn’t remember who he is so Pio started from zero with JY. They kiss and live happily together ever after.

Honestly I think this first scene where jeonghyo is getting chased is just what's going on in Pios head. He's performing with jealousy perhaps and that's why his performance had soul and made the audience cry? In his head he's imagining those men chasing down jeonghyo and killing him because of his overwhelming amount of jealousy and hatred and that's why his performance is so emotional 😥

Theory : jeongyo dissapeared in 2017 (the start of ep 1), Pio think hes dead (when we see him in 2026) BUT they meet again in 2026 (maybe jeongyo has a new identity) and theyre happy and alive 😎good ending after lots of struggles

OK MY PREDICTION: pi-os mom thinks jeonghyo is a competition for her son, and we see jeonghyo wearing a suit, so he could’ve been taken while he was about to perform, the guards take him, and he has no idea what’s happened, then they obviously 🔫 him and, he was supposed to perform with pi-o, but when pi-o doesn’t see him he gets super nervous, he leaves the concert and asks everyone what happened, his mom feels guilty seeing her son so nervous and she tells him everything, he runs to the forest and sees him dead, and yea that’s the ending😭✌️

why people didn't give enough attention at the timeline stated in the beginning of series ep 1 & ep 2, it's explain everything tho jeong yo got shot isn't the ending dw, tvN has given a glimpse of their adulthood.three of them jeong yo,pi o, jaein in 2027. intro ep 1 jeong yo got shot - in 2017 pi o & jeong yo be friend (current scene) - in 2016 adult era - 2027 ( jeong yo hairstyle changed )

this is not the ending btw 😭 this scene happens in 2017 but we also know we'll get to see them in 2026 (shown on screen again in ep2). tho seeing people freak out one of them will die is actually hilarious as someone who's seen all the spoiler'y promo and set stuff
