Will we get one on one time with Jesus? Scripture gives powerful evidence that we will have direct, personal fellowship with Jesus in the New Heaven and New Earth. Revelation 22:3-4 promises, "His servants will serve Him... and they will see His face." This is the climactic reward of eternity: face-to-face fellowship with the Lamb. While Moses could not see God's face and live (Exodus 33:20), in our glorified state we will behold Him with unveiled eyes (1 John 3:2; Matthew 5:8). Paul confirms this when he says we will no longer see "through a glass, dimly" but "face to face" (1 Corinthians 13:12). This is not a general vision but a deeply personal encounter, where Jesus Himself will speak with each of us. The Bible also hints at intimate one-on-one moments. Jesus promises a "white stone" with a new name written on it that only He and the believer will know (Revelation 2:17). He will personally commend His faithful servants: "Each will receive his praise from God" (1 Corinthians 4:5). He even vows that the victorious will sit with Him on His throne (Revelation 3:21)-a stunning promise of closeness and shared rule. These encounters show that eternity isn't just about collective worship but personal fellowship with the risen King. How can Jesus have personal time with billions? Unlike us, He is not limited by time or space. Even now He promises, "I am with you always" (Matthew 28:20). After His resurrection, Jesus appeared in multiple places, moved beyond physical constraints (John 20:19), and yet remained fully present. Eternity operates under a different dimension of time-Ephesians 2:7 speaks of "coming ages" where God will keep unveiling His grace. In this endless expanse, He has infinite capacity to love each person personally. We also see glimpses of these encounters throughout Scripture. Jesus says He will personally wipe away every tear (Revelation 21:4)-not metaphorically, but with His hand on every face. He will celebrate your faithfulness, call you by name, and invite you to feast with Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9; Luke 22:18). He will continue to shepherd you personally: "The Lamb... will guide them to springs of living water" (Revelation 7:17). You will not just worship Him from afar but serve Him "before His face" as priests in His presence (Revelation 22:3-4). Few believers meditate on the astonishing personal promises Jesus made. He intends to serve His people, saying, "He will dress Himself to serve, have them recline at the table, and will come and wait on them" (Luke 12:37). He will give you a secret name only He knows, showing that He understands you better than anyone ever has (Revelation 2:17). Your entire life story, every hidden act of faith, will be explained and celebrated (1 Corinthians 4:5). This should stir our hearts with anticipation. You are not heading toward an impersonal eternity but toward an infinite Person whose love for you will never diminish. The King of Kings has personal words, joy, and assignments waiting just for you. Every mystery of your life will be addressed as you sit with Him, see Him, and reign alongside Him (Revelation 22:5; 2 Timothy 2:12). Eternity with Jesus will be an ever-deepening relationship-each moment more radiant and transformative than the last (2 Corinthians 3:18). Jesus prayed, "Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, may be with Me where I am, to see My glory" (John 17:24). This is His desire: to have you with Him, to reveal Himself to you fully. In the New Heaven and New Earth, He will not divide His attention among billions but will pour His infinite, undivided love on you, personally, forever.
