I know you probably think making meat pie is difficult, but honestly, it doesn't have to be. And if you want to recreate this exact result, l've left the full recipe in the caption. Dough: 750g flour • 375g butter • 1 tsp sugar • 1 tsp salt • 1½ tsp baking powder • 1 tsp evaporated milk • cold water as needed. Filling: 500g minced beef • 1 onion • 2 Scotch bonnet • Irish potatoes • carrots • Maggi • black pepper • thyme • salt • 2 tsp corn starch. Method: Make the dough by combining the dry ingredients, rub in the butter, add evaporated milk and cold water, then knead lightly. Rest for 15-20 mins. Cook minced beef with onion, pepper and seasonings. Add diced ootatoes and carrots, then thicken with corn starch. Let it cool. Roll out the dough, cut into circles, fill, fold and seal with a fork.
