I have a mimic. Pretty sure it was here before we moved in. It will copy the sound of my husband coughing when he’s away for work. It will copy my daughter laughter when she’s at school. I ignore it. We are in Appalachia so I’ve got all sorts of weirdness. I don’t go past my woods at night around here either

I get pissed off when I hear one mimic the sound of fabric on fabric, like bubba shuffling in her bed on the baby monitor... when she's in the room with me... reminds me to turn the monitor OFF!
